I do not respect or appreciate How you treated me this morning. that leadership is not effective and it has not been affective. Being screamed at undermined belittled and berated unjustifiably in front of my team is unacceptable.
But thank you for NOT giving me the opportunity to give feedback and perspective. Instead I got the perspective and reassurance that I do not respect your leadership.
Since I didn't get the chance to say 3 words, here is what I wanted to discuss. The way you acted in front of my team and the entire flight line is unacceptable. You failed to display proper radio etiquette and professionalism. You failed to respect your subordinates and fellow SnCOs. What you were effective in doing was display an unacceptable form of leadership. You belittled you Airmen. You micromanaged your production team and undermined your flight chiefs. And because i was on the flightline (despite you claiming that I'm not), I got to hear multiple ranks, shops and shifts proclaim.... "well thats how chief does things." Because everyone is so used to your beratement it has become accepted.
This morning you screamed at me full well knowing that my team could hear your every word. I can only guess that was to show your dominance and 'make a show'...fire for effect. You did not allow me the opportunity to respond or give any perspective which is fine. However, you were wrong and unjustified.
1. You claimed I haven't been out there and that I need to go out to the flightline and 'fix' it. I Am doing my job, I have been out there. If you have any specific or pinpointed areas of feedback please, let's discuss.
2. You claimed you were lied to. I am not sure what you are referring to and once again wasn't afforded the opportunity to ask.
3. Honestly everything else you said was not 'heard'. I don't respond to getting screamed at unjustifiably so I was too angry to listen any more. Once again, I assume most of the rest was to make a point and be 'heard' by my team on the other side of the door rather any sort of effective and actionable feedback.
